Youth Pastor: Dean Campos
Greetings in the love of Christ! The one goal of the CCNorco youth group is to share the love of Christ with the youth. My heart for the youth is that they would know the truth of Scripture as it pertains to their life, that they might see the youth group as an extension of their family, and that they would learn what a joy it is to worship God. Finally, my hope is that together we would become like the man Paul encourages Timothy to be in 1 Timothy 4:12 "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." Youth desperately want to know the truth and the meaning to life; I pray that they would find it here.
Children's Ministry Director: Denise Pruett
Hello brothers and sisters in our Lord. I feel so blessed to have this opportunity to serve the Lord through the children. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for kids and I enjoy being with them. So to be able to help them grow in the Lord is special. Today’s world is so scary with all that goes on and the way Jesus is being put out of so many things, so it’s important to teach the children to love and trust the Lord in all areas of their lives. "Things" have become too important to the world when a personal relationship with Jesus is what is needed. It is my prayer that we teach the kids to put all of their love and trust in Him, to know without a doubt that He is our best friend and we will never be alone. He is with us always and will guide us through anything we encounter in our lives. Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path."
